The setting that matters most at this position is the passing touchdown. Four points is the default on ESPN, Yahoo and Sleeper; six points is common in home leagues and superflex formats, and it is worth roughly two extra points a week to a starter throwing two touchdowns a game. Switch the value and the same stat line produces a different answer, which is why a fixed chart is no substitute for running your own numbers. Quarterback totals are unaffected by PPR, so the result holds in standard, half-PPR and full PPR alike.

How are quarterback fantasy points calculated?
In standard scoring: 1 point per 25 passing yards, 4 points per passing TD, -2 per interception, 1 point per 10 rushing yards, 6 points per rushing TD, -2 per fumble lost. Some leagues use 6 points per passing TD instead of 4.
What is a good fantasy week for a QB?
20+ points is a strong QB week in standard scoring. 25+ is elite. Under 14 is a disappointment for a QB1. Rushing QBs (Lamar, Hurts) regularly clear 25 because rushing yards and TDs are scored more generously than passing.
Should I use 4 or 6 points per passing TD?
4 is the default for ESPN, Yahoo, and Sleeper. 6 is common in higher-stakes home leagues; it boosts QB scarcity and makes superflex / 2-QB formats more competitive.
How do you calculate QB fantasy points by hand?
Divide passing yards by 25, divide rushing yards by 10, add 4 per passing TD and 6 per rushing TD, then subtract 2 for each interception and each fumble lost. Example: 285 passing yards, 2 passing TDs, 1 interception and 30 rushing yards works out at 11.4 + 8 − 2 + 3 = 20.4 points.
Does PPR scoring change quarterback points?
No. PPR adds points per reception, and quarterbacks almost never record one. A QB scores identically in standard, half-PPR and full PPR leagues, which is why quarterback rankings barely move between those formats while receiver rankings move a lot.
What counts as a QB1 in fantasy football?
A quarterback who finishes inside the top 12 at the position, because a 12-team league starts twelve of them. Used about a single week it means the week's highest scorer at the position; used about a season it means a quarterback you can start every week without checking the matchup.
